Honesty - Be honest, being dishonest at the start is an easy way to mess things up if there is a future. No use making things that are not true, because at some point it will always come out.
Confidence - There is a fine line between being a "good confident" and being "loser confident". Be confident but not over board.
You'll Know - If you are constantly trying to find things to say and you find there are too many awkward pauses, then you can pretty much assume that it will not work out. Dates should flow, they shouldn't be about thinking what your gonna have to say next just to make conversation. Take the hint.

Drive Yourself and Meet Your Date Out - Meet your date out. Makes it easier and gives you room. If you want out, then you can get out.
Comfortable Clothes - Don't over dress. Where what your comfortable in. Don't dress out of your element cause then you'll feel uncomfortable before it even starts.
Keep it Simple - Keep the first date simple. Don't make it super posh or expensive. Make it a simple date with a comfortable environment.
Gum Is Good - Crew gum. Nothing worse then have to deal with a date that has bad breath.
